De Tomaso Pantera – Push Button Year 1971 – # 01113 The exhibited here De Tomaso Pantera is the 113 built Pantera of a total of 382 pieces of the series 1 with so-called push-button handles (push button) as they had the predecessor Mangusta and is incomparable with the conventional Pantera, the later series. This body was made exclusively by hand at Vignale in Turin. The first owner RA Christian Kubon from Friedrichshafen is chairman judge of the German motor sport federation and acquired the Pantera on the automobile fair in Geneva 1970. The vehicle became 1998 second-hand for DM 40 tsd. sold to Austria, from where it came back to Germany after 10 years and in turn has been in my collection in Austria for several years. The previous owners are all documented by documentation. This Pantera is also featured in the popular book “De Tomaso Pantera” by David and Linda Adler. The push button is still mainly in the original paint, only the black paint surfaces were made in 2001 later. The original interior presents itself in a very well maintained condition and shows the careful care over the time. The engine was overhauled in 2007 and has a mileage of about 50,000 KM. Overall, the vehicle has traveled only honest 150,000 km, especially as the Pantera with his second owner Gebhard Zeller German champion in dirt track driving and closest friend of the first owner, was not driven for a long time. The plaque in the interior is the original signature of Alejandro de Tomaso personally.
